What is Chinese Medicine
Chinese medicine is a complete health care system dating back over 3000 years. It is the oldest continually practiced form of medicine in existence. It is safe and effective in conjunction with Western medicine or as a holistic alternative. Chinese medicine works by helping your body shift back into its natural state of balance.
How Does it Work
Chinese Medical theories acknowledge a vital energy or life force called Qi (pronounced “Chee”) that exists in all living beings. This energy circulates through our bodies along pathways called Meridians very similar to the nervous and circulatory system. Each meridian flows into a specific organ and each organ is associated with certain symptoms, (ie. headache, insomnia, digestive issues, anxiety) which will manifest when the organ is out of balance due to stagnant and blocked flow of energy. Acupuncture sends a signal back to the organ to re-balance. When the organ is back in balance, the symptoms disappear.
What is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a procedure in which thin, sterile, disposable needles are placed into the body at specific points affecting the imbalance of energy and helping the body heal itself.

Please Note: If you do not see your condition, please call to find out if Chinese Medicine is for you. If you think you might have a serious medical emergency, an injury, growth or infection, which will not heal, you need to see a western medical doctor as soon as possible.
